Inspired by our founder Tim Oulton’s beloved A-frame glass acrylic desk used in his family home in France, reinterpreted in reclaimed timber and marble. Lending a strong architectural presence with its crisp angles, the A-Frame coffee table is handcrafted from century-old oak salvaged from old buildings and constructed by hand with durable mortise and tenon joints. Hand-applied marble pieces are assembled on the tabletop to create a striking eye design, inspired by ancient Italian paintings. The humble trestle table shape has a rich history of use from schools to science labs to decorating tables to banqueting tables, with its simplicity of design enduring through the ages.
